5 tips to consider before hiring a private investigator

October 17, 2018 - Reading time: 2 minutes

We take our investigations very seriously, and we think you should too. Hiring a detective can be a daunting experience, at PattayaPI we always guide our clients through the process in a friendly way. We believe you should always ask questions and we will gladly respond to any queries you might have either before, during or after an investigation is complete. At PattayaPI we offer free, no obligation quotes for all work.

We've put together 5 tips for you to consider before hiring a private investigator, we hope this list will help guide you through the process of an investigation.

1. Don't do it yourself

We are often contacted by people that have already tried to dupe their partner themselves, usually through the internet. This type of baiting rarely works, usually the target will ask to voice or video call with you, and at this point your DIY investigation will fall apart, leaving your partner suspicious and more on edge. This can make our job much harder. If you would like someone to try and approach your partner online, we can do this for you and our fee is very inexpensive. We also offer great rates on personal surveillance. Don't do it yourself and contact us first.

2. Be prepared for the results

If you're hiring us for any type of infidelity investigation, emotions tend to run high. We take no pleasure in giving our clients unwelcome news, and we always hope for the best outcome for our clients in each case. It's a good idea to try and consider each outcome and how you will react to them. It's our job to deliver the truth; sadly sometimes the truth hurts.

3. Don't raise their suspicions

When you're getting ready to hire us to complete an investigation for you, don't raise the target's suspicions. This might seem obvious, but subtle clues can give away your unease and put the person on edge. Often when someone hires a private investigator, they will start to question the target more, and take more of an interest in their movements or what they're doing. This can make the person more alert or wary, so play it cool and don't give the game away.

4. Be open and honest

When you reach out to a private investigator, be honest with them about your goals and what you're aiming to achieve. Include as much relevant information as possible, it all helps us build up a picture and advise you the best way for us to help.

5. Trust our advice

We are highly experienced and have dealt with most imaginable situations in the past. Make the most of our expertise and heed our advice. Once you take the step to hire us we will offer as much support and advice as you need to make the right decisions.

If you need to investigate someone in Thailand, reach out to us. We offer free no pressure quotes for all work and would be glad to help you.

Common lies that Pattaya bar girls tell foreigners

October 9, 2018 - Reading time: 3 minutes

If you're involved with a bar girl working in Pattaya, lies are something you're going to encounter over and over again. With that in mind, we've compiled the 5 most common lies that bar girls in Pattaya tell foreign men...

1. "I don't have a boyfriend"

If you meet a bar girl in Pattaya and she tells you that she doesn't have a boyfriend, don't believe her. A lady working in a bar would never admit that she is already in a relationship. For many of these women their goal is to be in multiple relationships with foreign men at the same time. Don't believe us? Take a look at this video which explains the mentality of many ladies in this environment. As private investigators, we can easily find out if your girlfriend is claiming to be single while you're out of town!

2. "It's my first day/week/month in the bar"

Bar girls aren't stupid. They know what you want to hear and would never admit to working in the bar scene for many years. They will almost always lie and claim to be fresh on the scene, whether she says that it's her first week, her first month, or her second month in the bar. If she tells you that it's her first day in the bar, alarm bells should be ringing out very loudly.

3. "I don't go with customers"

This has to make our top five. "I never go with customers" is one of the most common lies you're going to hear when you start to become involved in a lady that's working at a bar in sin city. The truth is, bar girls meager wages are designed to be bolstered by leaving the bar with customers as much as possible. If you don't believe us, we can find out if she is prepared to leave the bar with customers by visiting the bar ourselves and sending you a detailed report explaining her behaviour.

4. "I don't have children"

Bar girls will try to make themselves seem as appealing as possible to their customers, and they know that many men are not keen on a lady with one or two children. They will claim not to have any children. It's also very common for bar girls to claim that they have only one child, when they in fact have two or three. If you decide to visit her family, she might tell you the other children are her nieces or nephews. By the time you find out she actually has two or more, you're already in love with her and less likely to walk away.

5. "I'm pregnant!"

This is a very common lie and scenario that constantly gets played out in Pattaya. The condom ripped or bust, and now just a couple of weeks later you're getting a call telling you that you're going to be a father. Many guys are fooled by this, they will return back to Thailand and spend more time (and money) with the woman they think is carrying their child. Don't be fooled, this is a very common tactic used by bar girls in Thailand to force men into committing to them.

We are experts at finding the truth for our clients and investigating Pattaya bar girls. We can find out very quickly if you're being fed lies. Our rates are highly competitive and we offer free quotes for all work. Get in touch with us today explaining your situation and we'll let you know how we can help.

What is your boyfriend or husband really doing in Pattaya?

September 30, 2018 - Reading time: 2 minutes

If your husband is visiting Pattaya alone or with a group of friends, you need to be very concerned and here's why.

Pattaya is well known as the largest sex tourism destination on earth and has been described as 'the sleaziest city in the world'. There is an estimated 27,000 active prostitutes in Pattaya, which is roughly one in every five people living in the city. Sex is sold literally everywhere in Pattaya and you can't avoid it. Any foreign man visiting Pattaya is more than likely going to offered sex at some point. Will your partner resist the temptation knowing that you are thousands of miles away...?

Many foreign men will hook up with bar girls. These are ladies serving up beer and liquor in pubs and bars all over the city, but this isn't the main function of their job. They will also leave the bar with any willing customer, with prices as low as $30 US dollars. If your husband is sitting in a beer bar at any point during his stay, he will be speaking with eager bar girls looking to earn money through spending time with foreign men.

But it doesn't just stop there. Sex and sexual services are also on offer at massage parlors, go-go bars, nightclubs and by countless women that loiter beside roads and sidewalks looking for customers.

If you've never visited Pattaya, it can be very hard to describe the anything goes atmosphere, there truly is nowhere like it in the world. You could try watching videos showing Pattaya's tourist areas to get an idea about what goes on. If you're very lucky you might even spot your partner in the act.

We have no doubt over what foreign men are getting up to when they visit Pattaya without their partners, and you shouldn't either.

If your partner is visiting Pattaya, we can help you find out what they're up to. We offer a decoy "honeypot" service as well conventional surveillance. Our rates are very reasonable and we offer free quotes for all work. Send us a message through our website and see how we can help you.

A word on international private investigators...

February 8, 2018 - Reading time: 2 minutes

At PattayaPI, we are happy to work with any client that reaches out to us. This includes private individuals, law firms, and other detective agencies. Frequently we are instructed by foreign companies working on behalf of their clients in other countries. We have no problem working with these companies but feel asthough we owe it to prospective clients to explain the process by which international PIs work.

An "international private investigator" is someone based centrally, typically in the USA or Europe. They will accept a range of cases and work in any country in the world, whilst communicating with the client in their home country. There is no problem with this business model and it tends to work well most of the time. What typically happens when an international PI is instructed by their client is that they will go on to contact several different detective agencies based in the relevant country... For example, if you need a task performing in Thailand, these companies will contact every agency within Thailand asking for a quote. Sometimes they will even have rival companies bid against each other for work with the aim of finding the lowest possible price. Once they have secured the lowest possible price from a detective agency in their chosen country, they will go on to add their own commission (which in some cases can more than double the cost) and then act as a middle man between the client and investigator.

Often lawyers based overseas will not wish to contract with foreign entities, and so "international private investigators" tend to fill this void, acting as middle men based in the lawyer's country. While this does work in practice, it results in the client paying vastly more for the service, as lawyers and international PIs both charge their own fees. It also means that we don't have a direct line of communication with the client; there is a possibility of miscommunication as messages are relayed between an 'international PI', and then a lawyer before reaching the end client. We always prefer to have direct communication with our clients wherever possible. We feel that knowledge is power, and if you are considering working with an international PI, we hope that this post will help you with your decision.
